Getting Ready to Write my Novel
Last night, I spent hours figuring out how I want my book cover to be, despite not having written my story yet. I wanted to embodied my writing into an image to feel the beauty of my story. And it has made me feel motivated to get going.
I’m calling my novel: The Forest Remembers Me.
It’s about… In the beginning 1900s, in northern Europe, a young woman lives in stillness and finds love. When the external world begins to change, will her love and inner forest sustain or collapse?

That motivation has led me to pick up a few books to find inspiration. I picked up a novel titled: The Woman and Her Stars—a historical fiction novel.
A quick google search of the plot:
The Woman and Her Stars by Penny Haw is a historical novel based on the true story of Caroline Herschel, the first woman to discover a comet and become a salaried astronomer. The book follows Caroline as she moves from a life of servitude to become her brother William’s assistant, eventually finding her own voice and brilliance in the male-dominated field of astronomy during the Regency era. It’s a story of self-discovery, perseverance, and triumph over societal expectations.
It felt intriguing, so I had to have it.
Also, I got the book called: The Let Them Theory by Mel Robbins and Sawyer Robbins. I been interested in picking that book up for quite a while. It’s about letting those be and choosing to take your power back—by declaring I am not their story, I am my story.

Let them perceive how they want but never let them take your power. They can’t take your power unless you let them. Let them believe they can take our power away—but we all know they can’t because we chose to focus on ourselves and not their opinions or judgements of us. I haven’t read it yet, but I just already been doing my best to let them be.
Back to Today
Last night before I went to sleep, I was resting in bed and I felt myself laughing for an unknown reason. It’s those moments of laughter that can light us up. Maybe I was open to the “other side” because I was beyond fatigued?
Anyways… Back to now, I went to the park to take a walk on this nice warm evening. Something unexpected happened… I noticed more birch trees. I always walked through this park many times but this was the first time I noticed these new birch trees.
I think it was because I opened up last night and I gave myself permission to see the full picture. It is the forest remembering me—and they say, “you see, we been waiting for you to be ready, now you are.”
How does it get any better than this! WooHoo!!!
After my quiet time in the park, I went to the bookstore and that’s when I bought those two books. Talk about double how does it get any better than this!
Quick attunement
Say this with me now (while rubbing your heart):
I am the forest. I am the trees. I am the mountains.
I am the forest. I am the trees. I am the mountains.
I am the forest. I am the trees. I am the mountains.
I rise up tall as a mighty birch tree.
I am a still mighty birch tree
And I breathe as the forest.
I am safe. I am safe. I am safe.
And I’m free. I am free. I am free!
I hope that made you feel bright and shiny! Maybe that even made you tingly like pine needles on a tree.

That’s all I got for now…
Until next time… Find your joy within. You are loved, you come from love and you are nothing but love ❤️.
